The New Bantam Tools NextDraw™ 2234 is the proven and reliable computer-controlled plotter that provides versatile solutions to artists, innovators and educators.

Orders placed now for the Bantam Tools NextDraw™ 2234 will ship in 4-6 weeks.

The Bantam Tools NextDraw 2234™ is the ultimate large format pen plotter, beloved by professional artists who desire impressive sized pen plots. With a plot area of 22×34"/ A1 size, this is the largest machine in the Bantam Tools NextDraw™ series of pen plotters.

  • 22×34" (ANSI D) / A1 size drawing area.
  • Significant speed increase with updated firmware and brushless pen lift motor.
  • An auto-homing feature improved ease of use.
  • Sturdy electronics enclosure has easily accessible on-off switch, hardware pause and reset buttons, and built-in cable strain relief.
  • Central beam machined from billet 6061 aluminum with tight tolerances, increased precision and added weight for increased stability.
  • Familiar software with improved experience in Inkscape, with available command-line and python interfaces.
  • FCC certified.
  • Manufactured in New York.

The central beam is precision machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum, and anodized to a sleek black finish. This design adds mass exactly where you want it: to the non-moving base that forms the X-axis of the machine. In order to keep the weight light where it matters, the moving Y-axis uses a stiff and light custom aluminum extrusion.

Designed for use with paper sizes up to and including 22×34 inch and A1. It can work with any paper up to and including that size. The drawing head extends beyond the body of the machine, making it possible to also draw on paper and other flat objects bigger than the machine itself. For example, you can also draw on larger paper where your drawing can be up to 22×34 in size, yet leaving ample margins.

The pen holder fits a wide variety of pens, including Sharpie fine and ultra-fine point markers, most rollerball and fountain pens, whiteboard markers, and so forth. It can even hold a fountain pen at a proper angle of 45° to the paper. You can also use implements that aren't pens, such as pencils, chalk, charcoal, brushes, and many others.

As an added bonus, the brushless pen-lift mechanism empowers users to use writing implements that need pressure on the paper, welcome news to lovers of ball-point pens.
